Hi, I’m Jamey, founder of PLANTEDhouse. I’ve called Big Sky home for 20 years. With a background in interior design, my passion for creating beautiful spaces naturally evolved into working with houseplants. Not as decorative accents, but as living elements that enhance well-being and transform interiors. In many of Big Sky’s homes, this vital layer is often missing.

PLANTEDhouse blends the perspective of an interior designer with the sensibility of a landscape designer. It’s a way of bringing the outdoors in. This happens through thoughtful plant placement, living installations, and designs that respond to both architecture and lifestyle. Plants emphasize structural features and provide scale with bold statement pieces. They also enliven underutilized areas. Every design choice is purposeful.

 

At the heart of the work is a deep respect for nature and the way it supports us. We’re naturally drawn to tree-lined streets and green spaces, yet many of us miss the chance to invite that same connection indoors—into the places where we work, recharge, and spend time with the people we love.
